Cut, Copy and Paste is pretty much the same for pc users as it is for webtv users. There are a few different ways webtv users can use this method. Under WEBTV USERS below you will find the instructions for additional information. To COPY something you need to place the cursor at the beginning of what you want to copy. If you are only going to copy a small portion then hold down your shift key and use your arrow key to move along the text you want to copy. If you want to copy the entire page, then place the cursor at the beginning of text and press the CMD and A key at the same time, this will highlight the entire page.
Next hold down the CMD and C key, this will copy the information. If you wish to cut the information then hold down the CMD and X key.
Go to where ever you want to paste the information, place your cursor in the text box and press down CMD and V key at the same time. This will paste your information.
If you wish to copy or cut a url from a website or gif, click on the page or gif and you will see the url, simply use the CMD and A key to highlight and follow the rest of the instructions above to cut or copy and paste.

WEBTV USERS
A. Stay on this page, press the "find" key on the top row of your keyboard.
B. A pop up window will appear. Type the word CUT in this empty box. Then press the "return" key on the keyboard.
C. The word Cut will now be highlighted.
D. Hold down the "shift" key on your keyboard. While holding down the "shift" key press the "arrow key that points to the right" until the word Cut is highlighted.
E Now take your fingers off all the keys.
F. Hold down the "cmd" key while pressing the "C" key. You have now copied the word Cut
G. Go to your mail box and click on write. Move your curser to the text box as though you are going to write a letter.
H. Hold down the "cmd" key while pressing the "V" key. You have now pasted the words Cut.
I. The Cutting is done the same, except, you will use the "X" key instead of the "C" key. You can only cut words out in text boxes. Meaning that you can only cut what you are able to read.
A. Go to this webpage:
B. Press your "go to" key on your keyboard. A pop up window will appear.
C. Put your curser over "Show Current" button. Click onto the "Show Current" button. The URL of this page will be displayed in the Address: box.
D. Your curser should be in the Address: box. If it is not, move it into the box.
E. Hold down your "cmd" key, while press your "A" key. Now everything in the Address: box is now highlighted.
F. Now hold down your "cmd" key while pressing your "X" key. You have just Cut the URL of this page.
G. Go to your mail box and click on write. Move your curser to the large box, just as you are going to write a letter.
H. Hold down the "cmd" key while pressing the "V" key. You have now pasted a URL.

I have provided you with a poem. I need you to highlight only the poem. Starting with (The Glory) and do not stop until you have (trust him with his friendship") highlighted.
A. Press your "find" key, type in (The glory). Press the "return". Now these (The glory) 2 words are highligted on your page.
B. Hold down the "shift" key, while holding the "shift" key, press the arrow key.
C. Highlight the entire poem, including (trust him with his friendship.").
D. Hold down the "cmd" key, while holding down the "cmd" key, press the "C" key. You now have the poem copied in your browser.
E. Go to your mail box and click on write. Move your curser to the large box, just as you are going to write a letter.
F. Hold down the "cmd" key. While holding the "cmd" key, press the "V" key. You have now pasted the poem.
Step 2

Now you are going to move the words (trust him with his friendship.") to the end of the poem where they belong.
A. Move your curser before (trust him).
B. Hold down the "shift" key, while holding down the "shfit" key press the "arrow" key until you have (trust him with his friendship.") highlighted.
C. Hold down your "cmd" key, while holding down the "cmd" key, press the "X" key. Now (trust him with his friendship.") is off the page and copied in your browser.
D. Put your curser after (believes in him and is willing to) at the end of the poem.
E. Hold down the "cmd" key, while pressing the "V" key.
Your poem should be constructed properly.
