This is based on a class orginally taught by Lil a previous owner in 2000. I have rewritten and updated it.
Want to learn how to make Awards or put a special saying (Annotate) and a nice frame around your project? Then let's get started.
You will need a website to save your work to. If you do not have a website you can still follow the process and learn how to do it; you simply will not be able to transload or upload your gifs.
The gif below is what we will use to make an award.

I have provided a transloader for your use further down or you can use your own.
Now take your gif to
~IMAGE MAGICK~
You will see URL beside a blank box, place the url of your gif in it by placing your cursor in the box and hitting Ctrl+V to paste the url. Then click on View. This will take you to the next page; scroll down to make sure your gif is there.
You will notice the WIDTH =183 and the HEIGHT=207 in the box at the bottom of your screen. . If it is not there RELOAD the page.
At the top of the page you will see a menu of commands. Click on ANNOTATE.
SCROLL down to TEXT BOX and erase everything in it. Then type in Best
then Design on second line. This will keep the words off the gif.
SCROLL down to LOCATION and GRAVITY BOX: This is where we put the dimensions to determine the location of your words on the gif. This reflects the distance in pixels you are moving the text from the northwest corner in the x (horizontal) and y (vertical) direction.
Type in +5+38
The click on NORTHWEST. There is a menu there that shows locations.
SCROLL down to the box with FILL above it. This is where we name the color of text we want to use on our gif. Erase the color that is in the box and type in GOLDENROD.
SCROLL you will see a box with different Fonts: click on ARIAL BOLD.
SCROLL down untill you see POINTSIZE: erase what is in the box and type in 20. This is where you set the size of your text. The larger you make your text, the more you will need to play around with LOCATION and GRAVITY.
SCROLL back up and you will see a button called ANNOTATE; click on it.
This will take you to a page that will show you your gif with the words Best Design. CLICK on ANNOTATE again at the top of the menu.
SCROLL down to TEXT BOX and erase everything in it. Type in Award (if you wish a year on it, you can type the year on the second line.
Erase everything in the LOCATION & GRAVITY box and type in +9+50. CLICK on SOUTHEAST.
Leave Fill box as it is
Leave Font Box as it is
Change the POINTSIZE to 18
Scroll up and click on ANNOTATE.
Check to make sure your gif is there with the words on it.
I have choosen snow and steelblue colors for the frames we are going to add around our gif.
Scroll up and click on DECORATE.
Scroll down until you see DECORATION Geometry Box. Erase everything in it, then type in 8x8.
Scroll down to COLOR Box, change the color to SNOW
Then scroll down until you see FRAME.
FRAME should have a red light so scroll on down and click on the DECORATION Button.
This will take you to the main page to view your gif.
Click on DECORATION again.
Erase 8x8 and type in 10x10
Scroll down and erase Snow and type in Steelblue.
FRAME will still be lit up red so drop down and click on DECORATE.
View your gif.
Scroll up and click on OUTPUT.
Scroll down and put a check by GIF
Then click on SINGLE FILE
Click on OUTPUT
You should see your gif.
Now click on your gif.
Once you are on the page with just your gif placed on a black background you can go straight to the transloader and transload your gif. However, I always copy the url just in case.

This is what your award should look like.

Now send your beautiful award to the group so everyone can see it.
Don't be afraid to take this gif and add other words to it or take a different gif and play around and see what you come up with.
