Where do I live?

I live in Arkansas in a mobil home in the woods. I live here with my cat Percy. I have lots off squirrels and birds around me. I have a small garden started for the first time.

I live close by to my Grandparents. You could say they live next door, but it isn't like when you live in the city and the houses are close together. They live about 3/4 of a mile from me. Their house is the closest to mine than any other. Just not too close.lol I still have my privacy and independence.

I enjoy taking pictures of nature around and in my woods. I use a digital camera and upload using a PC. I don't have my Plus unit anymore. I just have a MSN TV classic. So I have to use my Grandma's PC or my Mom's to upload digital pics. I love living where I do in the woods.

Most of my close family lives in the same community I do. So they are all pretty close by. That is nice having my family near me. My Mother and step-dad live 30 minuets away from me. It isn't too bad unless Mom has to go right back to her house in Little Rock. That is an hour drive without stopping long. I rent this place from my Mother so I save some money that way.

My First Web Tv

I got my first Web Tv in January of 2001. I got a Phillips Magnavox Plus Unit. I fell in love with the way I could watch tv and be on the internet at the same time.

I also loved the capture feature that allowed me to capture pictures from the tv or video. I learned all I could about my new web tv and started putting it to use.

I sure do miss my Plus unit! It got fried by lightning that struck the ground across from my building (I think). I lived in the second story of an apartment building then. I am not sure if that is what caused my web tv to quit but after that happened nothing worked again. I could use the tv listings but could not get connected. What was weird is that the lights never even flickered and none of my other electronics were effected. I sure wish they would make an MSN TV Plus unit!

My Pets

At the time I got my new web tv I had two Guinea Pigs and a cat. Jake a boar Guinea Pig and Chiana a sow Guinea Pig. I also have a female cat named Percy.

My pets were my life before I got my web tv. So when I needed to sign up for an e-mail address. I used their names.

My first e-mail addy became Jake_Chiana@webtv.net my second addy Chiana_Percy@webtv.net

Jake died of old age in June of 2003.
Jake went to sleep and just never woke up.

Chiana the day after Christmas in 2003. She died of a respiratory infection that is usually fatal to Guinea Pigs. She died quickly and without suffering.

I miss them both very much.

I still have Percy. She is now 7 years old. She is my constant companion and friend. She is very playful just like a Kitten even though she is 7 years old. I love her dearly.

I am not going to tell all about all the Guinea Pigs I had when I had Jake and Chiana right now. I talk about them some on this page.

How HPO Has helped me

I really can't remember how I found HPO the first time. I (think) but am not certain that I found Lace's site Cyberspace Mountain and signed her guestbook. Then started talking with her. I think she may have introduced me to HPO. She is the first person I remember in HPO that I met.

When I first started learning HTML and made my Guinea PIg site. HPO members helped me see mistakes and things that should be changed so I could make my site better. Over the years, HPO has helped ALL of my sites be better than I could have made them on my own. I have learned how to do new tricks and codes with HTML and so much more from HPO.

I have seen Tutorials that have been posted by members that have taught how to do things that made my pagebuilding much easier. Also I found out a love of image making from the tutorials posted at HPO.

The members and staff have been very helpful to me in learning all I know. Thank You Very much HPO! You all are wonderful!

My Hobbies

Well most of you probably know already that I love making web sites. That and image making is what I like to do best. I love learning new things all the time on the web. I have started to learn a bit about

codes and IRC codes and what they do. Still can't write IRC javascript codes myself, but I am learning.

I love to read also. I read Sci-Fi and Fantasy books. Carl Merritt, Star Wars and Star Trek books, Terry Goodkind,Anne McCaffery, Piers Anthony, Melenie Rawn, Mercedies Lackey, and others. I also read some regular Fiction like Robin Cook, Steven King, V.C. Andrews.
