I live out here in the faaaaaarrrrr Northwest. Port Orchard is only about 2 hours drive from the fartherest Northwest Corner of the Contiguous United States. Well that was a mouthful, wasn't it.

I was born and raised in Washington of parents who were born and raised in Washington. In fact on my biological father's side is the Native American tribe to which I am a member, and on my biological mother's side were my great grandparents who were pioneers in Seattle.

I grew up in Redmond before Microsoft took it over.

I now live in a medium sized town - Port Orchard, which near Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, only about 50 miles from where my Indian ancestors lived.

I have two roommates, Mickey and Simba. While they don't talk English, they are pretty good at making their wishes known. (My Web Log - Blog is all about these two. See below.)

Mickey is a Cockapoo (the large size) and Simba is a , well, a female cat. (The grandkids named her.) She is more shy about getting her picture taken than Mickey is.

I'm retired due to health problems but I have a few hobbies, some of which involve WebTV. I love to take photographs when I am feeling well and the weather permits. But I have made few web pages, mostly just fun, quickie pages for myself and my family. Perhaps because I spent a number of years writing at newspapers for a living, I like to use less words these days. (Hmmmmmm, looking back at this page.) Now I like to tell it in pictures or in my own greeting- or post-cards.

I do, however, love to look at others' creations, in whatever medium. This is a reason I like HPO so much.
