Hi, I am April. I have been here a while, a few years now but I am not always in and out as I should be. I came with one site back then, my first, my old poem site and then I ended up with 6 big ones and a few unfinished! I loved making them.

Then the great crash of 250 took all I had, data and sites and then I had none. I was so devastated as so many were but here I went and rebuilt the poem site and won Mays award and I was so surprised because I was offline at the time and I asked Bob (aka SpAcEmAn) to check and he said I won and I won't say what I said but I was happy! And I do wear it with pride! So that accomplished that site but the old one was my "web novel" and I do have to keep that title so this new one will be 20 pages!! Just like the old.

I just rebuilt one of my other websites but this isn't a fun site. This is a help and educational site for a disease I have called scleroderma. Look for the post, I worked really hard so I could post it for August so now I have 2 sites! Losing Face, I Have Scleroderma is a site for other victims and others who suffer with closely related diseases like lupis and arthritis. It is incurable, an auto immune disease and it is real nasty! And I felt a "calling" to do this so I did. I do hope it helps others as much as possible and get the word out for public awareness. I found the old guestbook so you can see why I wanted it, the victims who signed it wrote their own experience and that was what I wanted.

I am 42 or could be 24 depending who asks...lol! I have 4 kids and am divorced. My oldest son John is almost 24 and in the Navy, my oldest daughter Jennifer/Jenny/Jen is 21 and was going to her 3rd year of college but took a semester off. My youngest daughter is Shawnee and she is 12 and my youngest son is Taylor and is almost 6, my Dennis the mennace.....lol! I am disabled due to the complications from my sclero and that SSI can come on with it! I am a cut up at times....lol. Ok, a lot but I have fun. I do love writing my poems and have done a lot this year and I love making sites. Not just a page to call a site, I make a site! And I have to have it all just right. I love doing sigs as much, thats why I don't change them as often.

Some here saw me through my darkest days is 2001-2002 first with the great flood of 2001 in Houston (no more floods thank you!) and then sadly when my Dad passed away. I still have a hard time with this and am doing better but I cannot say by much. I have seen people come and go, old names I know and new ones I don't. I am a rock and roller, I love spring and fall and I love my webtv!!! Thanks HPO for this pleasure and I look forward to making more sites to sort of replace the ones I lost although some I can't and will not try! Have a fun August! It is hotter than hades here in Texas but this is home!!
