Poster of the Week Director

S-N-O-W. There, I said it. Phooey! Nuff said.

We had a swell turnout throughout October for our HPO events. Thank you HPO members for making HPO GO! Congratulations to our contest winners too. Also kudos to the staff members that worked so hard behind the scenes for our members. (SALUTE!) I know you members are especially busy during this long holiday period but please try to post those "opinions" on the new or re-vamped sites. It's nice that we can help others with their sites and that, in turn, they are confident enough in seeking help from HPO.

I'm delighted at the response to Rusty's call for more pictures for the HPO Family Photo Album. GOSH! We are one of the most photogenic newsgroups in America according to a recent poll. (Louie Kazinski). There are still a few of you dragging you paws on sending in those pics. You don't have to be alone in it and it need not be recent. It's nice seeing the face that goes with the post.

Congratulations to our featured "Poster of the Month". It's been a long time coming and well deserved.

HPO Mascot

Hi Otterfans;

I've had fun seeing the pets in the HPO Family Photo Album pictures. Remember, you can whip-up a page, short or long about your pet friend(s) and submit it to be placed in the HPO "F-Keys". "Animals are people too" I say.

Some of us were able to attend the Halloween party over at the "All Friendly" NG. I'm glad we can support some of the other fine newsgroups. AF has been especially reciprocative with HPO. Thanks AF.

I've also had a ball teasing our leader Rusty and hope she remembers it's all in fun. Right boss????? She said she wouldn't go to any party with a critter but was spotted at the AF affair with William, AKA 'Big Bill". She was the envy of the entire HPO Staff. I take this opportunity to wish all of the HPO membership a "Happy Thanksgiving". I'll think of you all as we sit down to the Tuna Loaf here at the home Pod.
