Hi everyone,

I can't believe it is July already. We had fun with our Fourth of July Sig Parade and Patriotic Site Contest. I hope you had fun too.

Welcome to our many new members.. we like to see Judy really busy. And thanks to Erldene for heading the Award of Excellence program. I knew Barb was going to be a really hard act to follow; and I am fully confident Erldene will do an outstanding job. Blue Fox has done a superb job his first month on the job. I love reading his imformative posts on the board; and I can already see a visable improvement in my page building skills.

Please post your sites for review (I'm a little slow... but I do get there). If you have a large site, I recommend posting it in pieces. Something that can be done in one sitting.

I guess the secrets out of the bag... HPO is approaching it's 100,000 post. Remarkable, eh? Who will that poster be?

Hope everyone is having a safe and wonderful summer... and I'm looking forward to those "What I did on my Summer Vacation" websites.

Welcome Wagon Hostess

I just started getting things together for the banner exchange and we have added one new banner to our site. Anyone who would like to add their Banner please send them to me and I would be happy to do it.

Poster of the Week Director

Gosh! July already. On the 4th it's fun to watch all the dogs doing their best to hide under the beds because of the fireworks. Ha! Although during the Summer thunder storms I'm right there too. The count is up in posting in the group and we appreciate everyone who helped get it back where it belongs. We want to be sure to alert all lurkers and old timers to return to HPO. We miss you. Web Ringmaster

During the month of June the HPO Site Ring topped the 100 member plateau with the addition of five new sites. On a personal note I converted four of my web pages featuring images taken from CNN, MSNBC, Department of Defense Archives and several other places and made a slide show featuring our nations military servicemen and women during Operation Iraqi Freedom. There are 51 slides that may be seen here. What a way to kick off this July while we celebrate our independence and remembering those who have gone on before us..
