VIP Birthdays, Monthly Calendar &HTML Codes

Well, we had a very nice, cool August, and this weather suits me just fine :-) We are looking forward to a few new items for the group. I would like to start a weekly, (or daily, or as needed?) HTML forum for any questions you may have about coding web pages, or e-mail sigs. Nothing is set yet, so you can post, or e-mail me with any ideas or suggestions on how to run this.

Fall is coming VERY SOON and this is marks the return of more frequent holidays (First day of Fall, Columbus Day, Halloween) and holiday activities... including the making of sigs and web pages. We have already started to post many sources of images (gifs & jpg's) and music (midi files,) and I will be around to help you put it all together for your sig or web page. Well that's all I can think of for now, so I'll see ya in the group! :-)

Happy Fall Ya'll,

Not quite Fall by the calendar as yet, but here in Michigan the leaves are turning and temps are cooling down.Now, on to Fall and Winter. (Yikes!!) The Farmer's almanac has predicted a bitterly cold winter. Sure hope they are wrong. Last year we had one of the snowiest on record with around 91 inches.

But, first we must do our Fall cleaning. Time to go through our favorites and clean out the dead links. No sense carrying dead weight.

Then on to making new pages and sigs.

We will be having an Halloween sig parade and, also, a Site Fest. So get your spookiest ready.

November there will be a Thanksgiving sig parade. Also, one for Veterans Day.

December will be a Christmas sig parade and a Site Fest.

Plenty of work to get us through the next few months. So, let's get to work and show the other groups how talented our members are.

Any problems with your pages or graphics be sure to post and you will get the help you need.

Remember to submit your pages for the monthly Award of Excellence.

If you haven't done so yet, send us your birthday. We love having parties.

    We are into August already, this year is winding down and it's beginning to turn a tad bit cooler now, the holidays will be here before you can turn around and then we will be in a new year.

    As some of you know I love to work jigsaw puzzles, the 1000 piece kind, I have tried the 500 pieces, but I got through them too fast, so I went back to the 1000 pieces.

    I have put together a many puzzles now and some I have put down in the community room for others too look at and to take if they want them.

    I started to put together a 3-d puzzle and I got as far as putting together the border, which was not that easy, let me tell you. :)

    The puzzle was of Red and Yellow Roses with a lot of green leaves in the background and black curly stems, now when I tried to start putting pieces together comes the problem with the color changing up on you, you turn the pieces this way and that, and try to fit this and that, and it really mess with your eyes.

    Guess what I did??? I turned the border over and numbered each piece, and put them in a sandwich bag, put in the box along with all of the pieces and taped it up and put it away, I have no idea when and if I will ever get back to it.

    Right now, I'm almost done with a panoramic (15x39) puzzle for a friend of mine's for his game room, and when i'm done, I will start working on another puzzle I love working on them, they gives me something to do, and keeps my brain working. Sometimes I almost forget to come on line and I gets so engrossed in them I loose all track of time.
