Greetings members;
Time Flies. The FYI report really snuck-up on me this time.
Thanks to all of the new members who've posted and re-posted. That's because you've discovered HPO is a friendly welcoming place as well as a great source of help with your sites.
I've noticed also many of our new members have posted very interesting and fascinating subjects that otherwise simply may have never crossed our desks.
I imagine Conch-mon is well into his RV vacation by now. We're hoping he'll be able to send us some travel reports if he's able to do so. If you are going on a kool vacation this Spring and Summer Blogerize it and post it to HPO so we can see what you see and do.
There was a GREAT post of the lunar eclipse with photos. Since I was unable to get up to see it Norm and Seaweed tried to re-create it with 2 frozen meatballs and a flashlight for me right here in the bed-pod.

Hello everybody. I'm starting to get comfortable here at HPO - especially after winning the year's first homepage excellence award! February also got off to a great start for me with my home team New York Giants winning the Superbowl! GO GIANTS! :-)
I'd like to welcome all the new posters coming in, and I hope they enjoy all of our activities here at HPO. Our February calendar is loaded with events, but now I am looking forward to spring. I think most of us have had enough of winter. I'm looking forward to a very exciting season:-)

Hi Everyone
I hope that everyone is doing well, winter has finally came to the Burg here, if it wasn't for me having to go out, I would never set foot out of here until Spring time.
This is the first time that I have seen this much snow in the last few years since moving to Va, where the winters a mild, compared to here, and now moving back home we've had it pretty mild so far, but I knew that we was going to get socked with Winter either in Feb or Mar, and boy did we!!! it never fails, when I went out the other morning it was just 3* so you can imagine the wind chill factor.
Now I have to get use to this all over again. :)
It's time for another hot cup of coffee, will you have a cup with me? you're more than welcome.

Boy!! Here in Michigan we sure have had a rough winter. We are getting close to 70 inches of snow. Just a few more and we will break our own record. And, very brrrrrrrr. I don't know about you but I am ready for Spring.
I have enjoyed the great turnout we have had for the Award of Excellence. Keep sending them in.
Also, if you haven't sent in your birthday information please do so. We love parties.
Remember there will be sig parades for St. Patty's Day, Spring and Easter. Looks like March will be a busy one.

Hello Otter fanatics;
Seaweed and I have been working hard smoothing out and refining the weekly HPO BOX OFFICE. So we hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy putting it together.
Tried to re-create the lunar eclipse for ol' Pod-Bound last night. Not sure if he understood it or not after the flashlight batteries gave out but we had lots of fun and got to eat a couple of Jeannie's yummy meatballs.
Record-breaking cold here "Near Fargo". -31F real temp & -61F wind chill. Glad I have that sweater Jeannie knitted for me. Even we Otters can take only so much then we bundle-up.
Now is the time to start highlighting HPO's next "Big Doings"© which is the HPO 10th Anniversary on July 12th 2008. We're hoping for responses and remembrances from HPO members old and new. If you're a brand new member write-up something about your HPO experience to submit.
Watch for updates on everything that's coming your way.
