It was a normal overcast day in Seattle. I was sitting playing on the web when there was a knock at the door. I looked in the peephole and could see no one. Thinking it was just the wind I turned to return to the living room when I heard it again. Cautiously I opened the door.

I looked around and saw nothing. Again I started to leave when I heard a little voice say...."Ummm, down here!" I was in shock! There stood Norman!

There had been rumors, bad ones so I was so pleased to see him.
He came in and proceeded to tell me the story. It was Top Secret. He was told to leave home and tell no one. He was wanted for a special Photo Shot at the Seattle Aquarium.
He figured as long as he was in the area he would visit some friends. Fifi and Norman had fun together.

Norman wanted to play in our Fish Pond. Fifi said it was OK but NO EATING THE GOLD FISH!

Our Grandson Riley came to visit from Vancouver Wa and we went and watched Norman at the Aquarium.
We took the Ferry and had a wondeful time! But, the time was over so soon!!!!

It was time for Norman to go on his travels. I believe he was headed to Lace's house next.

Frannie

Our Norman, has been traveling to visit some HPO members since Bruce took sick. He went to Frannie's house in Washington State in September.

Frannie and FiFi had a blast with Norman, Took him to the Seattle aquarium and they used his picture on the brochure because he was so popular there. The children and adults alike adored him.

  Lace wanted him to come visit her house in WA also, So even though Frannie was hesitant to let him go, She put him on a bus and sent him to Lace's house.

  Lace's dog Star stared Norman down for 15 minutes before letting him enter the house. But they became friends immediately, and started making a mess in the house playing and chasing each other.

  Lace was going around picking up after them all time. And Norman requested Lace to have a special cabin of his own built on the property for the next time he comes to visit. His request was approved.

  Norman kept begging to go to California to see Rusty. Lace asked him, Don't you like it here? Fresh Salmon every night? Norman politely said he didn't like the rain. wanted some sunshine and to see Rusty and her 2 kitties. So Lace agreed. Sending him with apples so Rusty could find him easier at the airport.

  She sent him by plane to California. Rusty waiting at the airport for him.



  He is still in CA with Rusty. Looking forward to his trip with Janice the end of November. Where he will go to Texas to Janice's house before they take off on their trip. Have fun Norman and Janice.



  Though he peeks in at HPO a lot, Taking our keyboards from us. Fresh fish, Fresh fish, is his motto. lol. Norman our mascot HPO otter. What a character. Who will be next after his trip with Janice is anyone's guess at this point.

  Norman waves at all the members. As if to say, Have fun, I am watching.
