I think that two of the best drivers in NASCAR are Terry and Bobby Labonte. Not because they are such great drivers, although they are, but because of what they stand for. Their close family ties, their faith, and their integrity. They certainly have earned my respect.

One of the races that I would loved to have seen was the 1996 NAPA 500. Bobby won the pole with a track record of 185.887 mph.

Terry finished fifth, which was nothing great, except for the fact that it clinched his second NASCAR Winston Cup championship.

And the other brother? Well all Bobby did was win the race. This was Bobby's first victory of the year, and it allowed him to share victory lane with his older brother.



What a proud moment this must have been for both the Labonte brothers.
