My favorite driver is Tony Stewart. We are both rookies to the Winston Cup this year. Although I have been around the racing scene for many years. I have never considered myself a true NASCAR fan until now.

I don't know whether I can explain the way I feel, but I get into that #20 Home Depot car with Tony every week. The thrill of the ride is awesome. We hit highs and lows, but it is the thrill that keeps me going.

Sometimes I wonder how Tony feels. I am disappointed at times, but we are rookies and I know there is always next week and next year and we will get better. In all honesty, I can't really say I am ever disappointed, but there is that letdown feeling, that empty feeling. Then I get angry with myself for expecting so much of Tony. He has done such a fantastic job this year.

And then, unlike Tony, I don't have to face the reporters after a race, some that are rude and demanding. All I have to do is discuss the race with my online friends, who are very supportive. They are not all Tony fans, but they all have respect for Tony, as I respect their favorite drivers.
