WRITEN BY A CUSTOMER AND EMAILED TO 100 PEOPLE........ Dear All, As you can see I am sending a mass, mass mailing including about ½ my entire Outlook email address book! The motivation for same was the excellent service I have received from 2 companies over the last 2 months and I want to scream from the hilltop to everyone I know just how wonderful these 2 small businesses are, hoping that you too will support them and use them when you need their services Mary's Repairs (porcelain and pottery) Mary is located in Chicago but her work is well worth the effort and expense involved in shipping her your precious porcelain piece/s for re-build and repair. I sent her an impossible situation…a foot high, 9 inch wide Dresden compote dish that had been lovingly cared for (albeit not that carefully) by both my Nana and then my mother. It is a very involved piece with many intricate flowers, buds, flower basket and 2 children playing around it's base, which is an apple tree. The boys leg from the knee down was missing, countless buds and flowers were chipped and/or broken and the flower basket had a broken and missing handle. In addition the large bowl which was intended to to fixed to the top of the "tree" had been teetering on top for years! This woman worked miracles! This Dresden piece is back exactly as it was when it was first created! THANK you Mary! Thank YOU! You are so talented. I ADORE the piece.

Dear Mary:
I live in a retirement home and was delighted when I received a call from the Security office downstairs this morning that a big box had arrived for me.
The plate you repaired had arrived, and you did a beautiful job in restoring it. I couldn't imagine how you were going to handle all those tiny slivers of pottery that had broken off during the plate's shipment from England in January 2006. But you did!
The plate is now displayed in my china cabinet, and I am eager for my daughter in Cape Coral to visit to see how lovely it looks.  We were both heartbroken when it arrived from the eBay seller - and we found the plate broken.
The plate had been painted at the Minton pottery in the 1830's by my daughter's 3rd great-grandfather, Thomas Tatler - who was an artist there.  We are fortunate that you were able to put the plate back together, and to do it so well.

Restoration of a ceramic Lamp Top for a gentelman in California.

Your porcelain work was amazing. What a technological age we live in. Not sure if your process would be considered "technological" (I don't know what you do or how you do it), but had it not been for the Internet I never would have found you and would most likely have trashed the lamp.
Thanks again. I'd rather it never had been broken,but you were able to salvage a treasured family heirloom.

We just received the porcelains you repaired for us and can't find any evidence of the repair. Are you sure you did it? Just kidding! Dear Mary........
 The shoe arrived Wednesday, Nov. 28 safe and sound.  I am so pleased.  It is just perfect and no one could ever tell that it had so many problems.  I have put it in my curio cabinet where it will be safe until I find a little case for it.  That is a very good idea and I am not sure where to find one, but I will look for it.
      I am so glad that I found you over the Internet.  I have a huge collection of figurines that are stitching, sewing, knitting, quilting and the like.  So far I have managed to have all of them stay intact, but if I ever have a problem with a finger or an arm or some other mishap, I will definitely contact you.
     I can't begin to tell you how very pleased I am with the result of the shoe.  It was so very hard to come by and then to have it arrive broken was such a disappointment.  And I just hate anything chipped or broken.  It just ruins it for me.  But now I know that you are available for repairs, it makes it all so much better for the collecting world.  Be sure to know that I will pass your name on to others that may have problems with their shoes or other collections.  And the turn around was so quick.  Usually, it just takes forever to get anything back.
   Again, thanks from the bottom of my heart.
