Vincent Irizarry, who was on GL two different times, for two different roles, won this year for All My Children.

     
Better yet, Jeff Branson won for GL's Shayne Lewis. The last actor to win an emmy for GL. On his way to the stage (there was no podium) he first hugged Daniel Cosgrove (Bill) and Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan)

     
Jeff was wonderful. Very down to earth, and very generous in his remarks: "Wow, I'm nervous. Number one, thank you Guiding Light family. 72 years, I give this to all of us. I love you with all my heart. Thank you guys." He mentioned individually the cast, the crew, wardrobe, production, makeup, hair, "everybody... and all the fans, 72 years, thank you." He then gave call outs including his mom and dad and "Jamie. You're my everything baby." He concluded with "Thank you, thank you all." Altogether he said thank you or thanks 11 times. He was great. The highlight of the evening.
