DISCLAIMER

On July 4, 2002, KCBS preempted GL. As a result, these photos are not up to the standards of this site. They look "dirty," with very bad color rendering, in spite of my having worked with them extensively. They were taken off a tape sent to me by a fan in Texas. Although it was crystal clear on one VCR, it was not very good on either I could use for the site, partly because it is in SLP speed. I have added music to them. They seem to be the only ones on the web.

The episode started with Ed teaching Robbie the Pledge of Allegiance, and featured fantasies by characters as to where they would be in July 2003. Rick would be dancing at the barbeque, Olivia would entice Phillip, Bill would have Beth. There were scenes of the current day interspersed. At the end everyone reflected on what freedom means to them personally, and Buzz made a speech to the cops about how grateful we all are to them and the firefighters.
