We present the Scotland Adventure backstory, since Paddington

is the Duke's butler, and part of Bonnie and Billy's adventure.

Here is an overview of the plot up until they arrived in Scotland:

About 8 years before, a very dashing Scotsman we had in Oakdale (the ATWT locale), whose name is Duncan McKechnie, and his wife, Jessica Griffin, had a baby named Bonnie. Bonnie is now full grown, but don't even try to figure that out. It happened while the characters were off the show. Children age rapidly during times off the show.

THIS IS JESSICA


When Bonnie and Duncan showed up again on the show (Jessica was back already) she was nursing a broken heart caused by her philandering ex-fiancee' Ian (a Duke) She then fell in love with Isaac.

THIS IS BEN, Isaac's brother, who was now involved with Jessica, Bonnie's mother.
(Welcome to the World of soaps, LOL!!)


So, then, Bonnie's Oakdale friend, Jennifer, a big fashion model in Europe, meets Ian, and convinces him to show up in Oakdale. Jennifer's last boyfriend was Billy, who at this time worked at Java Underground, Isaac's nightclub, where Bonnie was a waitress.

THIS IS BILLY


Naturally, Ian's arrival caused misunderstanding and trouble between Bonnie and Isaac. Then Ian left for Scotland again, telling Isaac he was not through yet, and would be annoying all of us again (boo, hiss). At that point Isaac and Bonnie had another of their many misunderstandings. Billy was fired for trying to get Isaac to give in. Now, Bonnie went to Scotland, taking Billy along for company, in search of true love. She was under the impression that the Duke sent for her.
