IN TIME OF NEED


(Due To A Challenging Illness)




I pray to you my God,

To ask you the courage to calm my fears

And accept your will



To keep my mind and spirit pure

Even while the flesh is weak



I ask you to strengthen my body

And wash my illness

In order that I may continue to enjoy loved ones

Close to me in this world!



I fear my passing from this earth,

O God,even while knowing

That as mortals we all must.



I know that you have a plan

And a purpose for my life;

That you and you alone hold in your hands

The fate of all mankind before me

And all those yet to come.



I ask that you walk close behind me

Through these times!

I ask this in your name
