Celebrating the Easter Season

For God so loved the world,
That He gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him,
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

"Jesus said unto her
I am the resurrection, and the life;
he that believeth in me,
though he were dead,
yet shall he live;
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me
shall never die.
Believest thou this?"
John 11:25-26

In this restless world of struggle
it is very hard to find
Answers to the questions
that daily come to mind.
We cannot see the future,
what's beyond is still unknown,
For the secret of God's kingdom
still belongs to Him alone.

But He granted us salvation
when His Son was crucified,
For life became immortal
because our Saviour died.
Life is not a transient thing,
It is change but never loss,
For Christ purchased our salvation
When He died upon the Cross.
~Helen Steiner Rice~

And very early in the morning,
the first day of the week,
they came unto the sepulchre
at the rising of the sun.
And they said among themselves,
Who shall roll us away
the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
And when they
looked,
they saw that the stone was rolled away:
for it
was very great.
And entering into the sepulchre,
they saw
a young man sitting on the right side,
clothed in a long
white garment;
and they were affrighted.

And he saith
unto them, Be not affrighted:
ye seek Jesus of Nazareth,
which was crucified: he is risen;
he is not here:
behold
the place where they laid him.
But go your way, tell his
disciples and Peter
that he goeth before you into Galilee:
there shall ye see him,
as he said unto you.
(Mark 16:2-7)

So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them,
he was received up into heaven
and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where,
the Lord
working with them,
and confirming the word with signs
following.
Amen.
(Mark 16:19-20)

The Passion-The Resurection

His love is as glistening
As the morning dew
On the red red rose.
His love for us deeply flows
and forever grows.
His breath is soft
As a gentle spring breeze.
His voice you can hear
In the rustle of the trees.
To him we should bow our heads
And fall to our knees.

His smile is as big
As the great outdoors
His love is truly ours,
But in the palms of his hands
Are two festering crusty old sores.

His touch is gentle
As a feather floating in air.
His love is warm
Glowing like the sun.
A love so strong
It can never bend,
It will be there untill
The very end.

This love he was more
than willing to share.
Hanging from the old rugged cross
Great suffering and pain
He did bare.
To show us he did care
For us he would always be there.
As blood of bright crimson red
Trickled down his thorn pierced forehead.
A look of sadness filled his eyes
For his people he cries
Then slowly painfuly dies.

But by the power of his HOLY FATHER
in three days again he arises.
For he was and is
our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
OUR RISEN KING

He is my everything,
my inner being
and unto him I will always cling.

"Tomb, thou shalt not hold Him longer;
Death is strong, but Life is stronger;
Stronger that the dark, the light;
Stronger than the wrong, the right;
Faith and Hope triumphant say
Christ will rise on Easter Day."
