Were coming home tomorrow
On shining silver wings
Im coming back to you my love
With all my heart can bring

Let the light glow in the window
Take those ribbons off the trees
Im coming home tomorrow
And there with you Ill always be

Im lifting off from Baghdad
Like my brothers did before
From Saigon and from Seoul
And all those other distant shores

We didnt want to go there
But we did it just the same
You ask us all to go there
To defend this home again

I have so many stories
Of the glory and the fame
Of the brothers who served with me
For our country and our name

Now were wrapped in blessed blankets
Of the flag from whence we came
Were Americans and were soldiers
And were coming home again

Live tomorrow, as if it were the
last day of your life.
Home is where the heart is.
Emotions are just signs of how much you care.
Some things in life don't last forever.
To a loved one, its hard to say good bye,
even if they are going to the neighbors,
or across the world.
Actions are more powerful than words,
no matter how much it hurts.
Wounds from a friend, are better
than many kisses from an enemy.
Think as if, the next time you go to work,
or go to school, or leave the country,
you might never come back

For the Son of man is as a man
taking a far journey, who left his house,
and gave authority to his servants,
and to every man his work,
and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not
when the master of the house cometh,
at even, or at midnight,
or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you
I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 13:34-3

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts
they perform for us in our time of need.
I ask this in the name of Jesus,
our Lord and Savior. Amen."
