Winter



Winter is a very very very long season... raise your hand if you know what "cabin fever" is. Living in the mountains, people ask me all the time "Do you ski?" Ummmmmm not hardly! No way am I going to strap two skinny boards on the bottom of my feet and ride up a steep mountain only to hurtle myself back down the mountain over wet snow doing speeds in excess of 40MPH with only two spindly sticks to help maintain my balance... and NO BRAKES ... you think I'm totally out of my mind? I prefer the indoors with a nice blazing fireplace and a hot toddy, thank you very much.
