I stumbled across this idea while I was in GifWorks making different shapes from bars and dividers. I will first layout all the items needed in this tut and then explain how to put it all together.
First we have 10 different layers, (which is basically the same thing only resized) you don't have to use them all and you can shape your tree as you wish. ( ex: if you want a tall skinny tree, then you would use the smaller ones.)
Now that you have all the layers, you'll want to go to Image Magick Once there, cut, copy and paste the url for the last gif on the list, which is a 25x25 clear background and erase the http:// that is already there and drop the one you just picked up and click onto view. Now you want to go and resize it to 400x400 and put a ! after it. Click resize. Now you have a nice big area to work with. You are going to start from the bottom and go up! So you will start with the PIECE 10. Cut, copy and paste the URL go to composite, down the URL in the space provided. Gravity is South... Location is +0+5... let everything else the way it is and click composite. You should see the bottom of you tree. Next go to composite again and put in the URL for PIECE 9 Gravity is South... Location is +0+40... remember to leave everything else the way it is and click composite. Next go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 8 Gravity is South... Location is +0+80... click composite. Go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 7 Gravity is South... Location is +0+120... click composite. Go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 6 Gravity is South... Location is +0+155... click composite. Go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 5 Gravity is South... Location is +0+190... click composite. Go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 4 Gravity is South... Location is +0+220... click composite. go to Composite... put in PIECE 3 Gravity is South... Location is +0+250... click composite. Go to COMPSITE... put in PIECE 2 Gravity is South... Location is +0+280... click composite. Go to COMPOSITE... put in PIECE 1 Gravity is South... Location is +0+307... click composite. Now go to Transforn... click on TRIM and then transform. Go to OUTPUT... format is gif... storage type is MUTIPLE FILE...now scroll down to where it says LOOP and put a "0". Go back up and OUTPUT.
This is what yourTREE should look like. Now load it to where ever you store your goodies.
This is what I did with my tree: O-Christmas-Tree
Have Fun....:)
