It was the longest night of the year
When you whispered softly in my ear
Of passions so wildly often dreamed
But never in reality it seemed

You afraid of an on-coming thunderstorm
And as naked as the day you were born
Remember that moon shinin' an all aglow
Me wishing raindrops were kisses i know

That would wet you as soft rain does a flower
Tho passion needed no further props this hour
We were young and guess we knew
This love would not last the summer thru

But the whisper still echoes in my soul
An the kisses readily given without a toll
A night my heart was lost forever to thee
This feminine goddess you became to me

As we both gave in to our youthful desire
Being totally consumed by love's wild fire
I believe I will carry that first love forever
With a youthful desire that shall die never

During the dark of night I still dream of you
In the day you invade my consciousness too
As the years pass the thought does remain
That we will meet again one day in the rain
