Internet relationships can begin
From a very innocent friendship
And a deep longing from within
When a person's defenses slip

Suddenly you discover this new place
And your head and heart begin to spin
New emotions cause your blood to race
Surprised, maybe it's love that you're in

Discovering that funny special feeling
And desires that both were unaware
That rise an surface without thinking
To expose a human need layed bare

To love and be loved so completely
Consumed with wild burning passion
Always keeping it hidden so secretly
Thinking this desire some aberration

When lover's secrets are finally exposed
To others, innocence in doubt or mistaken
True feelings are suspect it's supposed
But every word was from the heart spoken

Tis difficult to try to really comprehend
How it's possible to be involved this way
Never wanting this warm romance to end
Nor ever hurt her with what you may say

Our fantasy will never happen we know
Cuz of other commitments that are there
And personal baggage both have in tow
Our hearts say we have no right to share

Sometimes you wish it hadn't happened
Embraces an kisses you yearn to keep
And in your heart you wish it never ended
With both your emotions running so deep

There's a saying that ends, if I remember,
Don't have regrets be happy it happened
I'm glad it did and I shall love her forever
Even now with a love so very saddened
