Clouds

What is so marvelous about clouds? Is it a spiritual connection with the spirits of the world or just the plain delight of seeing beauty? Clouds are transcendent and mystical. They add to our world in mysterious ways.

Trees

What is our connection to trees? Is it simply because we once lived in trees in an earlier time? Or, is it the life giving oxygen that we get from the trees as they expire. It could be the mysterious and wondrous spirit that the trees have. I prefer to believe the latter.

What Are Pebbles?
What are pebbles, but grains of dust in the universe? If we would add all the pebbles, would that equal the number of stars in the universe? Or, are they stepping stones to a bigger and more expansive state of being? These are the analogies that pebbles help us to understand.

Have you ever walked up a mountain slope near an old mine like the ones in South Dakota? The cascading display of beautiful pebbles gently meandering down a mountain trail? What a glorious and transcending experience.

The Ocean
What is it about the ocean that stirs our souls? Is it our primordial beginning beckoning us to return? Is it the surf against the beach? Or is it the lovely breezes that blow gently through the ocean seaside? I believe that all these things are part of the mystery of the ocean.

What Is A Drop Of Water?
What is a drop of water, but a small microcosm of the universe? There are many microscopic organisms in each drop of water. Life persists in coldest and the hottest water, from the Artic Oceans to the thermal springs. The primordial soup that all life sprang from was mostly water. It is one of the 4 main substances of this world: water, earth, wind and fire. It is a building block for life and substance alike.
