alt.discuss.config will be converted to a moderated newsgroup using the
"open club" format on Monday (Jan 31) morning after the 1AM vote tally
run.

At that time, all articles in alt.discuss.config except those posted by
"nobody@vote.munitions.com"  will be cancelled. We will start this with
a clean slate, no lingering flame threads to draw fire.

If there are any articles now in alt.discuss.config that you want to
save, you should do it this weekend.

One additional note: if you intend to post into alt.discuss.config after
it becomes moderated, please make sure your signature does not contain
attacks against other posters. If it does, either modify it or make sure
you remove it from your articles before posting to alt.discuss.config;
flames in signatures are still flames and will result in banishment if
posted.
